India is a nation with a rich cultural background. This richness in it's culture comes from the

diversity that it enjoys geographically and historically. A history as old as several thousand years, boasts of an artistic heritage which is influenced by religious, political and cultural modifications it has gone through over the years. Many  religions like Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism and Sikhism emerged from Indian soil and many have floundered here over the years, like Islam and Christianity. Celebration of lights in “Deepawali”, victory of good over evil in “Dushehra”, Splash of mixed colors of harmony in “Holi”, Triumph of womanhood in “Durga Pooja”, Harvest celebration in “Pongal” and “Onam”, goodness of Sacrifice in “Muharram”, and National Holidays of Independence and Republic Day.

Clothes of India are also as colorful and spirited as India itself. Traditional woman's attire is a charming nine yard of clothe called Saree. Saree is not only time-honored but also has changed it's format and design as per the modern times. Wedding attires include Lehnga Choli, and much decorated bridal gowns. Kurtis and Churidaars have given a new meaning to the casual wear, being it conventional yet modern. Western wears like skirts, tshirts, and shorts are equally famous among Indian girls. Embroidered and stitched garments also plays a very significant role in Indian clothing.

  

                        

Indian woman are not only famous for their beauty and fabulous clothes but also for the splendid and stunning Jewelry. Gold seems to be the most favorite choice when it comes to ornaments. Grand and resplendent are words which came to mind when we see beautifully articulated detailed pieces of Indian Jewelry. Beads, Metals, Ceramic, Bamboo, Clay, Terracotta, Banjara, Pearls, Navratan, Gems, and Diamonds are some of the few types and techniques used in the making of Indian Jewellery.

I can write and write all day but when it comes to Indian Arts and Crafts, but a history of million years can not be captured in any way. Only way to witness and feel this Indian grandness is adorning yourself with beautiful Indian attires and Jewellery.
